“TOTTO CHAN a girl at the window and the school in train” The US bestseller book written by the author of Japanese origin Tetsuko Kuroyonagi. talks about writer’s own experiences of her incredibly naughty child-hood, a very unique school called “Tomoe Gakuen” and the headmaster who was consistently inventing innovative techniques and unusual environments to help a child grow from all measures of life which unfortunately was destroyed at the time of 2nd world war.

Classroom in the Train
Totto was extremely excited on coming to the new class opf her's.The headmaster had already shown Totto her class.
Totto new class(the coach) was a bit old tructured.As she opened thedoor, her heart missed a beat with excitement . "Ohh, its fabulous",was her reaction.It seemed as a ll time journey with the studies.the only difference was a black board and benches instead of seats.Totto entered the class and sat on one of those seat.That's the day Totto decided that she'll never miss a single day of the school.. she throbbed like a heart beat when she saw outside the window. she felt as if her classroom(the coach) was moving. same ti,e two more
students came in totto's class and took their place. But Totto's
heeart ws singing at fullest:
I'm Happy, I'm Happy, yeeee
I"m happy to be,
The School, My school,
I love you to the full!!
OH! I am soooooo Happy!
The Education
Educatin at Kobayashi's school was at par to the world. Usually in a
school the students were supposed to study as per the timetable laid.
But in Kobayashi's school. it was just different.As soon as the day
starts, the teaxcher comes and gives out the list of subjects to be
studied in the whole day.And then the students are at ease to select
any one to start with.
Exciting Is'nt?????
This way the teachers were able to concentrate on each and every child
and also were able to enhance their qualities at fullest.
Bravery Test
the headmaster wanted to build up the confidence of his students and
so he decided to throw"Bravery Test" for his students.
The same day he announced," We all will be spending a night at
KUHONBUTSU temple, wherein Bravery Tst will be held for you all. those
interested in becoming devils may please raise your fingers".
